Tomorrow, October 24, there will be one of the femfestival event “A tea with composers”: an event included in the OFF season of the now famous festival directed by Serena Dandini.
Anna Menichetti (Radio Rai3) and Chiara Dino (Corriere della Sera) meet, for a tea, some famous female composers: Concetta Anastasi, Sonia Bo and Patrizia Montanaro. They will talk about their musical experience and about the role women have, today, in composition and conducting.
Francesca Lazzaroni and Costanza Renai will instead focus on female entrepreneurship in culture: trying to identify its opportunities and challenges. Last but not least, they will talk about the femfestival, Amat’s socio-cultural project for women composers all over the world. The initiative, born from the artistic collaboration of Francesca Lazzeroni, Concetta Anastasi and Barbara Rettagliati, is in its first edition and already collects contributions from composers from 35 countries around the five continents.
